生命奥秘博物馆是一座集人体、脊椎动物、海洋动物塑化标本收藏、科研、展示为一体的综合性博物馆。生命奥秘博物馆始建于2009年，展馆为现代欧式建筑，座落在具有历史文化底蕴的大连市旅顺口区，展馆面积达2600平方米，是至今亚洲唯一一座可以透视生命迹象的综合性博物馆。
生命奥秘博物馆拥有各类藏品千余件，世界顶级塑化产品多达百件，市值数十亿，部分藏品已申请收录世界吉尼斯大全，可谓件件展品无不举世震惊。馆内所有藏品均采用世界上最先进的生物塑化技术，将组织如真实活体般保存下来。该技术通过真空物理过程，用硅橡胶、环氧树脂、聚酯树脂等活性高分子多聚物对生物标本进行浸渗，替代生物组织中的水分和脂类。塑化标本具有干燥、无味、耐用、可以长久保存而且易于学习的特点；其表面保持原有的状态，并可在显微镜水平保存细胞的结构，具有极高的教学、科研和科普价值。

Mysterious Life Museum is a comprehensive museum including collection, scientific research and exhibition of plastinated specimen of human body, vertebrate and marine animal. The museum’s construction started in 2009. This modern European building is located in Lushunkou District, Dalian, a city proud for its long history and cultural abundance. It has an exhibition area of 2600 m2 and is the only comprehensive museum allows visitors to look for the signs of life.
There are thousands of exhibits in the museum and hundreds of them are top-notch plastinated specimens, worthy of billions of RMB. Some exhibits are candidates for Guinness record. Every single piece of exhibits here strikes the world with amazement. All exhibits in the museum are preserved by the most advanced plastination technology and tissues are vivid as if they are alive. In this technique, a vacuum physical process is applied, that is to say, the water and fat in biological tissue are replaced by high-molecular polymers such as silicone rubber, epoxy resin and polyester resin through an impregnation process. The plastinated specimens are dry, odorless, durable, long-preserved and easy for study. The subtle structures of tissues and cells are identical with their original conditions; therefore, the specimens have a high value in education, research and science popularization. |
